Preseason Power Rankings:
1 DRG Orochis: This is a very top-heavy team. Kev is the lowest player by rank but his stats are pretty impressive with only 80 games in on Faceit. I think HolyLamb might be their worst player and that bodes incredibly well for the season.
2 COW Ribeye Rippers: Just a good, solid unit that is led by an extremely talented player.
3 BS Gloop Troop: I'm the fucking best and this team is really good. Props to management on this one for building a solid team using 4 keepers and 1 pick in the draft.
4 SAV Lions: Another well-rounded squad with some good shooters that I expect will do well.
5 GAS Xenon Czars: A lot of players with solid stats. They could go far unless new GM Crazy melts down again.
6 HG Mercenaries: 2 very good players at the top with some good firepower at the #3. The season is dependent upon how their last 2 players show up.
7 ATL Hydras: Decent supporting cast, some great riflers, and sdo with main+ experience a long time ago could end up anywhere. It’s going to depend upon IGL and any positional problems.
8 AVI Eagles: I find this team hard to rank. They have players with premier experience and topinspace is the fucking goat. I think it depends on how their best players perform each match day and how well they will get along.
9 NAN The 1gs: I believe in this NAN team, but not that much.
10 UPS Impastas: OK, so, obviously keagoo can IGL. But I believe he lacks the pieces and chemistry to recreate the season he had last year. He still has good players but he has complained too much about his MMR for me to believe in him.
11 AP Booty Hunters: They have some top-end power but the supporting cast leaves much to be desired.
12 OS Daimyo: One of the weaker teams on paper this season. Their only real standout player is Way and I am unsure if he is playing the season or not.
13 LEC Vortigaunts: With 2 awpers and several chally promotes I’m not sold on I can see Owen struggling to get his pieces working together. And he has another hill to climb with the igl nerf hitting him quite hard. Too many variables make me doubt this team’s ability to win out.
14 H4K Walling Wizards: Currently, this team is fielding only 4 players, and no matter the talent I do not see them consistently winning 4v5's. Jokes aside, h4k goes to second place on the PR with a good 5th as coda is a proven CSC IGL and the players surrounding him are extremely talented.
This preseason write-up was based heavily on stats vs competition played outside of CSC. Very few players were weighed based on performance last season. English is not my first language.
